Who We Are
Dial-a-Home has been in Real Estate Management services for over 40 years.
Over the years, we grew to understand that our middle income residents wanted and deserved the kind of services that high-end urban and suburban high-rise residents demanded with the premium rents they paid that included immaculate and sterling shared spaces, a constant supply of basic amenities like water, electricity and security and even more important, dignified and sustainable ways of managing domestic waste from
the homes they live in.
Our Waste Management Services were a response to our desire to give the best Municipal Waste Management services to our residents and grew to our present commitment to inform and equip our communities to own sustainable recycling of their domestic and industrial waste enough to respond to our present environmental crises that have been presented by irresponsible and uninformed waste management practices.
Our Reality
Most of the 4.5 million residents of Nairobi, burn their trash or dump it illegally in the City because adequate waste disposal is unaffordable. As in many other fast-growing cities around the world, waste management is a huge environmental issue. Due to inadequate planning, 2.5 million people or two thirds of the population do not have access to any affordable waste management services. Therefore, most residents burn their trash or dump it illegally and as a result often suffer severe health problems including infectious diseases and respiratory
health symptoms among adults and children
